CAFY Mission Statement

The Community Alliance for Youth (CAFY) exists to promote the wellness of the young people of Acton and Boxborough and to help them make healthy decisions as they mature to adults. It is also our goal to help parents learn to effectively support the healthy behavior and address the high-risk behavior of their children.

CAFY's focus is to support and supplement the work being undertaken by our community's many different youth-oriented groups. We believe all of these groups are essential to address the risky behaviors identified by the bi-annual Youth Risk Behavior Survey. No one organization can fully address these issues.

Being a teenager means learning to make decisions on one's own, and living with the consequences of those decisions, often forever. Although there is no single "solution" that will eliminate all risky choices, The Community Alliance for Youth will endeavor to give our young people and their families all of the information and support possible.
